When thinking about possible concepts for this Library project, I thought back about this sketch I had done of a lovely restaurant entrance in St.Andrews and how I appreciated the indoor greenery; it felt refreshing. Motivated by that I started looking into vegetation and a pattern could be seen, that I wanted to apply to my concept layout. When thinking about a place of study, you think about learning and growing. You see growth all around you especially in nature therefore I wanted to adapt that pattern to my design - A centralised point of growth from where it spreads.
